Nature of business:
Plastomatic AG was added to the Müller Group in 1962 when the management identified a growing market for industrial packaging in plastic. The manufacture of 25 to 60 liter plastic containers with handles started on a second-hand BEKUM BA 500 blow-molding machine. Today Plastomatic produces containers, bottles and drums with capacities ranging from 5 to 200 liters on several large blow-molding machines. Other molded articles can also be manufactured. Complementary to its own products, Plastomatic also supplies drums and large containers with capacities up to 1500 liters. A large silo storage system for raw materials, partial wall thickness control (PWDS) and large warehousing capacities guarantee reliable and flexible manufacturing.
Plastomatic is the specialist for Baritainer Selar RB laminated containers and MultiCans in a 6 layer coextrusion process. MultiCans also receive an antistatic outer coating and comply with the current packaging requirements for highly flammable products.
